Raquel Warner, Program Director, has a background in elementary education and literacy. Her passion for fostering lifelong learning in our youth began during her time volunteering at an orphanage in her hometown of Intibucá, Honduras, and grew exponentially after helping illiterate community members how to read and write. She started working for the Boys & Girls Club as a mentor while enrolled in McDaniel College’s education program and fell in love with the positive impact that the club has on its members. Her interests include reading, baking, and trying new adventures – her most recent being kickboxing!
