Sean is a strategic and mission driven executive with extensive experience in devising strategies to optimize both operations and teams’ performance, assuring the realization of long-term business and community goals. He is excited about expanding the reach of the organization and has the goal of making the Boys & Girls Club of Westminster a county wide organization. In his spare time, he enjoys making memories with his better half Ashli and their 3 kids- Ty, Cru, and Rae.
Debbie Leazer, Development Director, has a background in fundraising, alumni relations, event planning and donor recognition and stewardship. After 23 years in Institutional Advancement at McDaniel College, Debbie decided to establish a consulting business that assisted MedStar Washington Hospital and The Historical Society of Carroll County. When approached by the Boys & Girls Club of Westminster to assist with their Campaign fundraising efforts to build a new Club and Gymnasium that would serve 600 children in our community, she jumped at the opportunity. Debbie is excited to share her experience in fundraising, event planning and friend-raising to establish relationships in the Community that will build volunteer and gift support for the Club.
Jim Rodriguez, Operations Director, has an extensive background in education. He worked in Carroll County Public Schools for 31 years prior to coming to BGCW. He served in various capacities in the school system - 10 years as a Physical Education teacher and coach, 5 years as a school-based administrator and 16 years as a central office supervisor in the fields of Athletics, Physical Education and Health. He has a master’s degree in Education with a specialization in working with at-risk students. He is excited to use his experience to assist the great work BGCW is doing with our members and the community.
Erin Bishop, Marketing Director, has a background working in the sales, marketing, and human resources field. She served for 3 years as Chairman of the Community Advisory Council of Carroll County where she acted as a liaison between the Board of Education and the community to educate and inform citizens on issues critical to education within the Carroll County Public Schools System. Erin is excited to share her experience with the Boys & Girls Club by encouraging others to learn more about the Club and the wonderful opportunities it provides for kids in the Westminster community.
Mollie Yingling, LMSW, Social and Emotional Wellness Director, started at the Boys & Girls Club in the summer of 2015 as a summer camp counselor and continued on to become a McDaniel mentor. She graduated from McDaniel with her Bachelors in Social Work and a minor in Psychology, and received her Masters in Social Work from Salisbury University. After 7 years with BGCW, Mollie worked in the mental health field at a community mental health facility. Mollie rejoined the BGCW team in 2022 where she creates safe spaces for the Club members to feel heard and validated. Mollie works closely with members and their families to address mental health needs and provide community resources. In her spare time, she enjoys watching The Office, spending time with her family and friends, and cuddling with her sweet cats, Margo and May.
Tommy Schoolman, Middle School Director, has a background in higher education administration and mentorship development. He graduated from McDaniel College in 2018 with his B.A. in Biology, and spent the next several years working to support the peer mentors at McDaniel College and students transitioning during their first year of college. Tommy is excited to use his experiences at the college level to help grow the programming and overall youth development at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Carroll County Middle School Impact Sites. Tommy grew up in Carroll County and is most looking forward to continuing to build relationships with BGC youth, family members, and community partners.
Matthew Badorf, Program Director, has volunteered with various children and youth organizations for the past ten years. It was volunteering at the Boys & Girls Club of Westminster that led him to his current position. Matthew has a diverse work background in landscaping, hospitality, and pool maintenance. With a strong work ethic and a passion for delivering exceptional service, Matthew has accumulated valuable skills and experiences across various industries. Although he is thankful for the skills he learned in these work trades, he realized that his passion and skill set are best suited to working with people, especially children and youth. He is excited to serve as the program director at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Carroll County’s North Carroll Clubhouse to learn new skills, and work with the youth in Hampstead and Manchester. In his free time, Matthew enjoys playing basketball, watching movies, reading, listening to a wide variety of music, and spending time with loved ones.

We accomplish this mission by providing a safe place to learn and grow, develop ongoing relationships with caring adult professionals, participate in life-enhancing programs, build character development experiences, hope, and opportunity. In all of our programs we utilize a time-tested youth development strategy.
